The Dublin Liberties Distillery (DLD) has launched an online shop and delivery service, in response to requests for its Irish whiskeys and has partnered with its Dublin 8 neighbour and registered Irish charity Age Action, to support its services.

DLD closed its doors to visitors on the 13th in line with Government guidelines for COVID-19, but production of its leading Irish whiskey brands such as Dubliner and The Liberties range, continued. Now by bringing its attention to the ‘stay at home’ market, customers can enjoy the finest whiskey from the Distillery, in the comfort of their own homes.

For every bottle of Irish whiskey sold, The Distillery will donate 10% of the sale to Dublin 8 charity, Age Action, which promotes positive ageing and better services for older people.  Also, at the shop’s checkout page on the website, anyone shopping will be given the opportunity to donate to DLD’s charity partner. This is optional.

Delivery is free in the greater Dublin area and the service is now live at  What better way to buy your friend or loved one a bottle of whiskey for a special occasion, without stepping outside your own home.

Furthermore, the DLD are offering a 15% discount to all hospitality staff in Ireland, discount code can be redeemed by contacting the team through social media or email

Commenting on the new online delivery service, Fergus Murphy, General Manager, Dublin Liberties Distillery said; ‘We were disappointed to close our Distillery doors, but the safety of our team and our visitors, during COVID-19, is essential. Now with our new online delivery service, we can continue to meet the demands of the public who want to drink great Irish whiskey, while simultaneously doing our bit to support the community in which we live, and most especially, provide support to the elderly who we are all prioritising at this time.”
