Dylan McGrath has created an exciting new menu for The GastroBar at Fade Street Social of innovative small-plate dishes centred on quality ingredients and creative combinations.
On the new GastroBar menu, you can expect a wide mix of inventive and adventurous small plate dishes built with exciting elements and techniques — all underpinned by Dylan McGrath’s signature creativity, focus on flavour, understanding of contemporary tastes and ability to surprise.
Dylan McGrath said, “There’s something special about eating in small plates; as long as the produce is good, it can be a lot more exciting. We’ve looked at the fact that there is still a demand for small plate restaurants, and what we’ve tried to do is something innovative without getting too fussy.”
The inventive, globally-influenced choices include grill-charred options like Point End Steak charred over coal, Seasoned with Charcoal Salt, Bone Marrow Butter, Burnt Spring Onion & Pine Nuts; braised dishes such as Octopus with Tomato, Chorizo, Crispy Chickpea Custard, Onion Lyonnaise, Smoked Paprika & Parsley; carpaccio choices like Torn Burrata with Basil Purée, Peaches, Herbs, Lardo & Black Pepper; while coated and fried dishes include Blistered Padron Peppers with Salt.
Among the new menu’s tempting ‘Snacks’ options is a BLT Lobster on Toast with Hollandaise and Herbs, Skilly Fries & Lobster Mayo. Veggie options include Whole Roasted Cauliflower with Truffle Dressing & Comté Cheese. Among the imaginative dessert choices will be a whole new range of exciting flavours of soft serve ice cream.
The service at Fade Street Social is renowned for its professionalism and friendliness, which has helped make the venue one of Dublin’s hottest spots. “We want people to trust us with their night out. That is something we take seriously,” said Dylan.
Fade Street Social continues to evolve by offering new experiences throughout the venue, with a new cocktail menu launching soon and a new food menu having been introduced into The Restaurant at Fade Street Social.
